Daycare description / philosophy

The facility has held a clean license since opening, a decade ago. Young Explorers offers programs for ages 10 months - 4 years, including exposure to phonics, early math and reading/writing, story time, puzzles, music,creative arts & crafts, field trips that include visiting Playland, Vancouver/Burnaby Libraries, wading/spray parks, Lakes, and Strong Start Program. The center offers a Gradual Entry Program that facilitates a pleasant transition to daycare.

Looking for small enrollment numbers to ensure the personal attention that your child will receive? Well this daycare PROMISES to deliver that with only 2 full time and 2 part time positions offered at any given time. I have completed many workshops such as Nobody's Perfect (1 & 2), Good Beginnings, Steps, English Tutoring certificate, Empowering Children that have provided me with extensive knowledge working with children of all ages.

This licensed Daycare is a member of the YMCA Child Care Resource and Referral Services and licensed by the Fraser Health Authority, since 2004.

The daycare is located opposite Inman Elementary School, close to Kingsway & Boundary and Boundary and Moscrop intersections. The daycare setting is in a newer house (not a basement) with a beautiful fenced backyard. No smoking/pets environment. Healthy snacks that appeal to young children provided. The daycare offers a safe, secure, and loving home away from home setting where I work as a team with the parents.
